Brown Eyed Girl | Conway Portrait Photographer

Only a couple of sessions left to share from the mini sessions in the daffodil field!  Okay, so this one, was tough…the wind was BLOWING everywhere, and this beautiful 3 year old has pretty long hair…which means, it was blowing everywhere too hah!  There were a lot of cute pictures anyways though.  I had to share this one because look at her eyes, hello sparkly!  Gorgeous little girl!

She Just Glows

My college roommate and best friend is pregnant with her 2nd child (girl!) and this picture just really shows her happy glow.  This definitely was one of my favorites of that bunch – I love little moments like these.  I’m sure little Boston is ready to have a playmate/sister!

(oh, and look at her hair, isn’t it perfect??
Hah, last 2 posts have me talking about hair, maybe I need to start practicing on mine!)

Perfect Little Liv

Well, the Wye Mountain mini sessions were a success!  We had BEAUTIFUL weather, and everyone in Arkansas I think decided to take advantage of it and head on out to the daffodil fields ;).  While it was tough to find a spot secluded, we still got sooo many cute shots of so many little ones.  Thanks to all of you that came out and were part of the Melissa Reibe Photography mini sessions.

I’ll be sharing sneak peeks over the next couple of weeks as I edit through all of these. First up, is perfect little Liv.  She literally was perfect for me!  I just love her, she’s so pretty and SO petite!

What to Wear | Spring 2011

So I thought I would try my hand in creating outfits from polyvore.com to maybe help with my sessions…and oh my gosh, it is so hard!  I’m not really that fashion savvy anyways, it’s all I can do to just dress myself.  But to dress a whole family?  HARD.  And yes, I know it says Spring and you’re probably wondering why I created my people with sweaters and such, but it’s still cold here in the spring!

As for what to wear, I like not too many prints, but some print is okay.  I like non-white shirts.  I like bold colors.  I like people to coordinate, not to be matchy matchy.  I like for you to wear what’s comfortable, and YOU.  I want you to feel good in what you are wearing, because if you don’t, my camera sees that.  I like casual shoots.  I like dressy shoots.  I like the in between.

When trying to figure out what everyone should wear, I usually like to start with one person or outfit, and make that my main focus on colors/patterns/look.  So I suggest picking one outfit, and then working around it for the others in the photo session.  Can’t decide?  Just bring it all, or email me what you have and I’ll pick for you!

And here is my first (and may be only attempt) to creating a “What to Wear”:
