New Packaging!

I'm so excited about my move to USB/Flash Drives.  If you haven't already heard, there are computers being built now without CD drives, so I figured it was time to move on to USB's instead of CDs.  Once I got my new logo, I knew it was time to redo all of my packaging, so I started with it!  I'm loving it so far, and I hope my clients do too!  All of my clients that book a full sessions/newborn sessions will get this packaging.  If you do a milestone session and end up upgrading to all of your images, then you'll get it too!  YAY!

What do you think?

I'm going to be participating in a project called Project Inspired.  We have weekly themes and you get to interpret the theme however you'd like through your camera lens.  This week's theme is 'Yellow'.  I had a newborn session today, and thought of this theme when I was using this yellow blanket stuffer.  This is just a random prop blanket I have, but the quilt underneath is actually very important to baby Riley.  Her grandmother made this quilt just for her.  I absolutely love it when clients bring sentimental things like this to their sessions.  I always encourage you to do so!!

Go ahead and check out the whole blog circle, head on over to Colleen Bighley Photography's (Somerset WI Family Photographer) to see her interpretation of 'Yellow.

I love these photos for a couple of reasons.  One, I'm using my new fisheye lens, which I totally bought as a 'fun' lens, but plan on pulling it out at some sessions.  I've played with it before in the past, and just decided I finally needed one for myself.  I also love these because they are very lifestyle...very real...this is *us* on a weekend :)  My favorite is my sweet little Cooper dancing with his daddy (best daddy ever!).  And then of course, the one where he's reaching for me wanting me to pick him up...that's my life people!  I love it though <3

A friend of mine, Danielle from Danielle Lemon Photography, made some What to Wear style boards, and was nice enough to share them.  I always have clients asking what to wear, so hopefully I'll start adding more of these to the blog so you can get an idea of what to wear.  Again, I always say this, and it's so true, but anytime you see an awesome family picture, child picture, or maternity picture, pay attention to what they're wearing and mock it!  Your outfit can really make or break your photos!

Here's a maternity style board...
