How far in advance should I book my session?
...I do have a full time job, so it's always best to book your session a couple of months ahead of time.  I only allow myself to do 2-6 sessions a month depending on the month, so I do book quickly, especially weekends!  Your best bet is if you know you want pictures in the future, by all means, shoot me an email and we'll get your session on the calendar!

Where is your studio?
...I do not have a studio.  I am an on-location photographer, meaning I travel to you or we meet somewhere to take pictures.  I prefer to only use natural light which means I love outdoor pictures!  If you have a location in mind for your session, please suggest it, otherwise, I will give you a list of places depending on the look you're going for!


How do you pronounce "Reibe"?...Hah, I get this one a lot. What a name to marry into right? Actually, my maiden name got a lot of different pronunciations as well, so I'm quite used to it.

What should I wear to my photo session?...I want you to wear something you are comfortable in! I love layers, bright colors, jewelry, scarves, coordinating (not matching) outfits, distressed jeans, dresses, you name it! What not to wear: all white, too tight clothing, too big and baggy clothing. Also, check this link for some ideas.

How long are the sessions?...The sessions typically last anywhere from 45 minutes to 2 hours.

How long after the session will I get to see my online gallery?...Your online proof gallery will be posted 2 to 4 weeks following the session. I almost always post a sneak peek to the blog and facebook somewhere in between that time frame!

Do you offer pictures on a CD?...I do offer images on a CD. The Mini Sessions comes with 5 images on a CD.  You have the option of adding more images to the mini session package at an additional cost.  The Deluxe Session comes with ALL edited images on a CD.  Every high resolution image will come with a print release so you can print wherever and whenever you'd like.

What is the difference between the mini session and the deluxe session?...The Mini Sessions are to be used on one person.  These are great for your child's milestones (3,6,9 months, and 1 year) or their birthday shoots every year.  Maternity Sessions are also great for this type of session.  With this session, you only receive your choice of 5 digital images from a gallery of 20+ images.  You do have the option to buy more digital images or buy prints of any size.  The Deluxe Portrait Session is geared towards family sessions or any session that involves more than one person (couples, etc).  This is an "all inclusive" session in that the fee covers the session fee, and you automatically get ALL the edited images on a CD (with a print release) along with a 4x6 or 5x7 print of each image! 

What is a digital image?...A digital image is a jpeg/.jpg file.  Any digital images you buy will be put on a CD/DVD, so you can have the images forever.  If you buy the digital image, the file will be full resolution, meaning you are not limited to the size you want to print.  Of course, if you want to go really big (16x20 and bigger), I always suggest you get with me so I can help prepare your file for a bigger print.  Also, any prints that you buy from your session, you will receive the low resolution watermarked jpeg file of that picture either via email or on a CD.  This size of a file is NOT suitable for print, and only looks good online (email, blogs, facebook, etc).

Do you photograph newborns or weddings?...I am currently not offering these wedding services but have a few photographers I can refer you to, so just ask!  I just started, in the summer of 2012, offering newborn services.  Contact me for information on that pricing!
